How Virtual Care Works
You connect with a licensed provider by secure video or phone. The provider can diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, and send prescriptions when appropriate. Virtual Visits are best for non-emergency issues.

When to Use Virtual Care
Choose virtual care for simple or routine medical needs such as cold symptoms, rashes, or follow-up questions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or serious symptoms, seek in-person care right away.

How to Use Virtual Care
You can start a virtual visit through your health plan’s online member portal or mobile app. Select Virtual Visit, choose a provider, and follow the prompts to begin your video or phone session. Make sure you are in a quiet and private place and have your member ID card available.
